Starting a business is never an easy decision, especially if you are earning from a regular job. It will never come up into your mind, unless certain circumstances push you on the edge of the idea. These might includes, regular income might not be enough nor having a complicated boss is too much to handle.
Another factor that can wakes up your sleeping business soul, is the pressure of going to work 5 days a week, 13 hours a day (inclusive of break times and traffics), and worst is even on typhoons and other natural calamities. These might be the few among many other reasons, why sometimes, it all cross into our mind--why not put a business of my own. Upon realization, you'll then soon be inspired.
Now, second phase of decision making is on sight. It's all about the BIG C- CAPITAL. This is not only about monetary capital. Actually the biggest factor on BIG C is the hidden problem of putting up a business. It is the skills and talent. Most common question is, "What business should I put up to?".
This might take several months to figure out. And mostly, many people fails in this phase. Because those several months take on years and eventually they lost interest. After figuring it all out, you'll soon weigh it again, you will soon doubt your decision - "Will this business worth it?" and then the process will repeat itself...starting from being comfortable with your regular job again until "Will this business worth it?"...the cycle repeats over and over and over again.
Now, let me tell you the turning point of me, deciding to give it up with a big GO on putting up my own business. I am a working mom. I work 5 days a week, travelling 54 kms away from home going to work. Business is never on our blood. We had believed that a fixed regular income is better than unsure opportunity of business. But, when our company closed down, I am 31 years old, with 3 little kids. I entertain the thought of being into a business. I remember a good friend told me... " If you will dream, dream big! believe big! and work big!"
This made me move my first step. I was convinced, I will took this opportunity now. This is my time. And from that decision, I work on stepping forward. Taking every unseen step ahead. I am holding into my heart the hope of good fortune, the promise of secure future, the inspiring stories of those successful believers, and the will of a dreamer. Now, I am in digital printing business.
It is not easy for a newbie and rookie like me. The ins and outs of the works, the legalities of business matter, the marketing strategies and the competitions, these are all mind-blowing. I can't say that I am a successful businesswoman yet. But I can say I am trying the best of my luck and my hard work to climb up the ladder of that so-called business success. I am determined. I am a believer. And I am a real scorer!
